Meet Your Hosts

Dr Sue Egan

Sue is a Counselling Psychologist, EMDR Therapist and founder of the Alpine Healing Retreat. Following her own experiences of loss and healing, she is passionate about helping people rediscover hope, meaning and connection after traumatic loss. Sue combines trauma-informed approaches with a love of nature and adventure, creating spaces where people feel safe, understood and supported.

Mike Davidson

Mike Davidson is a retired British Airways A380 Captain who first discovered skiing in his twenties and has enjoyed a lifelong love of the mountains. Alongside his aviation career, Mike has pursued a keen interest in psychology and human performance, completing a Master’s degree in Psychology. His experience in teamwork, resilience and helping others develop confidence brings a calm and encouraging presence to the Alpine Healing Retreat.

Together, Sue and Mike share a passion for helping people rediscover joy, adventure and connection after traumatic loss.
